Air IT is delighted to have been awarded with the Cyber Essentials (CE) Plus Certification, verifying our commitment to safeguarding systems and data against cyber threats and affirming our position as a leading managed security services provider.
After being CE certified for over year, we have taken our dedication to cyber security to the next level and are delighted to now be CE Plus certified.
In addition to this, Air IT is now an official Cyber Essentials certification body, allowing us to certify other organisations to Cyber Essentials.
Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed and industry-supported scheme, which assists and ensures organisations protect themselves against common online threats.
Companies that are Cyber Essentials certified lower the risk of cyber-attack, and offer assurance to customers that sufficient security controls are in place to successfully reduce the risk of any breach on systems and data.
In order to attain the CE Plus Certification, an independent Certification Body conducted a comprehensive examination across our systems and processes to inspect and verify our cyber security measures.
Our processes were considered against five key aspects of the programme, which are proven to reduce the risk of a cyber-attack by up to 80% when in place.
Cyber Essentials Certifying Body
In addition to offering full support for organisations seeking the Cyber Essentials certification, Air IT is now a Cyber Essentials certifying body and is able to issue the CE certification to other cyber-aware organisations.
In order to achieve certifying status, we were required to prove that Air IT meets a high level of skills and expertise in the area, and demonstrated our team’s significant experience in information technology and cyber security.
As part of the process, we also undertook a comprehensive training course, during which we reviewed the Cyber Essentials standards, and learnt about the processes, costs and skills required to assess clients who are hoping to achieve the CE certification.
Following a successful audit and completion of the course, we are delighted to be an official authorised Certifying Body.
We are delighted to have been awarded with Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Here at Air IT, we are extremely committed to cyber security and have our own dedicated cyber security division Air Sec, which offers specialist expertise and services to help businesses of all sizes keep safe against cyber threats. Having now achieved the CE Plus certification we are looking forward to issuing CE certifications to other organisations in the future and playing our part in building a more secure cyber environment.
