We are delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Johnson as our new Chief Technology Officer and Head of our specialist cyber security division, Air Sec.
Introducing our new Chief Technology Officer
Lee strengthens our existing leadership team which includes Founder and CEO, Todd McQuilkin; Managing Director, James Healey; Marketing Director, Paul Judge; Financial Director, Mark Taylor; Marketing Manager, Laura Saxton; Service Delivery Manager, Paige Smith; and Business Manager, Amy Healey.
In his new position as Chief Technology Officer, Lee is responsible for directing our technical strategy and acting as a trusted strategic advisor to over 400 of our clients. It’s Lee’s aim to deliver solutions in line with our clients’ own business needs and goals, helping them achieve long-term success.
As Head of Air Sec, our specialist cyber security division, Lee will offer expert insight on critical protection plans and recovery against internal and external threats.
In addition to his role at Air IT, Lee is a consultant of the Digital Growth Programme and delivers action-planning workshops on cyber security, Office 365, and cloud computing to SMEs across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
As someone who is passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals through the secure and efficient use of technology, I am delighted to be joining the team at Air IT. With cyber security concerns regularly threatening businesses large and small, I’m looking forward to supporting and strengthening our offering to clients and advising how to ultimately safeguard their business. Air IT has an incredibly bright future and I’m excited to further establish us as a leading managed service provider in the UK in 2019.

About Lee
With over 13 years’ working in the IT industry, Lee has a wide range of experience providing infrastructure support across a number of sectors, as well as in locations such as China, Hong Kong and New York.
Amongst his many achievements, Lee is ITIL and PRINCE2 certified and has previously gained a range of prestigious industry accreditations with vendors including Microsoft and Cisco.
Outside of work, Lee enjoys playing football for a Sunday league football team and supports Coventry City FC.
2018 was a brilliant year for us and Lee’s appointment will see us continue to go from strength to strength. Lee brings invaluable skills and knowledge across the IT industry, and has proven experience in the MSP sector so is a perfect addition to the company. His strategic, innovative and fresh thinking will integrate well with Air IT, and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.
